YaPdm has, a part from the integrations to office and design systems, a lot built in the base product.
For example, DesignCopy functionality, PDF-generation and MS Office integrations.
Our objective is a flexible, customizable tool that can change with the company and it's processes.
It contains integrations with MicroSoft products such as Excel, Word och Outlook and other email systems.
Important to mention about the integration is also the depth of them. We want to create fully functional integrations that dos not require upgrades of the system for each version (or service pack) of the CAD or Office application.
Many things are easy to configure in the YaPdm standard interface, for example, ID-numbering, mapping to applications, file-types, attributes, or even classes. The system can actually be up and running when making the changes. Future objective is to perform smooth deployment tools as well, from prototype to production within minutes.
